Quality Inn & Suites Port Huron

I'll be honest, I was kind of wary of the other reviews, but the room was totally clean including underside of mattress (looked brand new), breakfast was really good, service was great. No issues w noise at night, we slept fine. Went outside at night several times, never felt unsafe. And this place is in a great location! I would definitely stay here again

Fabulous little place. Super pleasant staff. They have the GOOD sheets UNLIKE the Choice Hotel down the road. It would be great to improve breakfast a bit. Long-term maintenance people need a swift kick in the backside but otherwise clean. Save yourself the misery of going to the Choice Hotel down the road and stay here. I will never go to the other place again (cheap and dirty).

Room was clean and comfortable, shower was broken (told the front desk and they appologized), breakfast is not good there, no options, and by 9am it's cleared out and not filled again. Front desk staff is very nice. This was my second stay here.

Price was reasonable snd facility was clean, king bed and room were very comfortable and all facility and amenities worked fine. Check in and out was good. Was not impressed with the sausage and eggs at breakfast but the rest of the food was acceptable. Very good location for access to international bridge between canada--Usa. Would definitely stay again.

Overall, my stay at this location was great. The front staff is some of the friendliest staff I have ever encountered. The room was clean when we checked in and the breakfast was hot the next morning. I enjoyed the low volume of people in the parking lot and hallway while watching people struggle across the street at a different hotel. The only problems that occurred were the loud housekeeping, the odor in the hallways, and the cards not working properly. We were never locked out, just had to swipe a few times. As far as the smell & housekeeping, it wasn't in our room or the lobby and the cleaning staff has to do their job so it wasn't a bad experience. The rates were the lowest in the area, and I will most likely come back here when we come back to town if the rate stays lower than the competition.

Rooms were dirty! The manager does not care or want to deal with the customers. In the morning when checking out, the front desk girl did not have a friendly attitude. There were still cloths hanging in the closet from the last guests. The maid does not clean the floors especially in the washroom. Cheaper for a reason I guess. The rooms also still have the smell of cigarette smoke. When we talked to the front desk. We did not get any help. Lots of competition in the area. Try another hotel before checking into this one.

Very nice and attentive service. Strawberry waffles are great.
